The GST B Unit admission test 2026 for the session 2025-26 will take place on Friday, April 3, 2026. The exam will start at 11:00 am and end at 12:00 pm. A total of 93,102 candidates are expected to sit for the test at 21 centres.
The test will follow a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. The full mark for the exam is 100. Students must score at least 30 marks to pass.
Authorities said 0.25 marks will be cut for each wrong answer. Special provisions also allow some candidates to take the test again. However, officials did not give further details about this measure.
Earlier, the GST C Unit admission test took place on March 27. The result was published on March 29 at around 11:55 pm. The authorities released the C Unit Results two days after the exam.
This year, 284,480 students applied to 20 public universities under the cluster admission system. Among them, 166,162 students applied for the A Unit for science subjects. Another 93,102 applied for the B Unit for humanities, while 25,216 applied for the C Unit.
The GST cluster system allows students to apply to several public universities through one process. Officials say this system helps reduce travel and costs for applicants.
Authorities are expected to announce the B Unit results after the completion of the evaluation process.
