The National University of Bangladesh has published the Masters Admission Result 2026 for the 2023–2024 academic session. The results were announced on Tuesday, April 7, according to an official notice.
Applicants to the Master’s (Regular) programme can now check their merit status. Results are available through SMS and on the university’s admission website at www.nu.ac.bd/admissions/.
Students could first access the result by SMS from 4:00 PM on Tuesday. To check by SMS, applicants need to type NU ATMF Roll Number and send it to 16222. The result became available online from 8:00 PM on the same day.
To check online, candidates must log in to the admission portal. They need their Application ID and Roll Number. The merit status then appears on the screen.
The university confirmed the publication through a notice on its official website. The notice followed an earlier urgent announcement issued on April 2.
According to the notice, students who are already enrolled in any Master’s course must take action. This includes Master’s Regular, Private, or Professional programmes. Those selected in the new merit list must cancel their previous admission by April 15, 2026.
The university said failure to cancel earlier admission may lead to problems. It warned that registration could be cancelled due to dual admission. Dual admission means being enrolled in two programmes at the same time.
The university also announced the class start date. Classes for newly admitted Master’s (Regular) students will begin on April 16, 2026.

Students who received a place must now complete the next steps within the given dates. The university said further instructions about admission procedures are available on its official website.
