The online application for Dhaka Central University (DCU) Admission has started on June 10, 2026. According to the report, the university received 8,601 applications for its first-year undergraduate admission test in a single day.
The applications were submitted by 5:00 PM on Thursday, 11 June, for the 2025–2026 academic year. The university recently started its admission process following the launch of online applications on 10 June.
Dhaka Central University was formed through the integration of seven government colleges in the capital. The application process will continue until 20 June.
According to the university’s admission notice, applicants will be able to download their admit cards from 5 July. The university has also scheduled the start of classes for 6 September after the completion of the admission test.
For the 2025–26 academic year, the university is accepting applications for four-year undergraduate (Honours) programmes under three admission units. These include departments in Arts, Science, Social Science, and Business Studies.
Admission seekers can apply through the university’s website. The application fee has been set at Tk 800.
The university said detailed information about eligibility requirements and the admission process is available in the unit-wise admission guidelines published on its website.
The admission activities will continue through June, with admit card distribution and examination arrangements scheduled in the coming weeks.
