The National University (NU) has published the Honours 1st Year Routine 2026 for the 2024-2025 academic session. According to the schedule, the examinations will start on July 27, 2026, and continue until September 20, 2026.
The university confirmed the schedule through an official notice issued on Wednesday, June 10. The notice was signed by Md. Abdus Samad, Additional Exam Controller of the National University.
According to the published routine, all examinations will begin at 1:30 PM. The duration of each examination will be mentioned in the respective question paper. Students who have successfully completed the form fill-up process will be eligible to take part in the examinations.

The notice stated that the examinations will be conducted according to the announced schedule. However, the National University has reserved the right to revise or change the routine if necessary due to unavoidable circumstances.
The Honours 1st Year Exam Routine shows that the first day’s examinations on July 27 will include History of Bangladesh: Language, Culture and Identity under the new syllabus and History of the Emergence of Independent Bangladesh under the old syllabus. Subject-based examinations for different departments will then continue according to the schedule.
The university has instructed examinees to arrive at their examination centres before the scheduled time. Restrictions may apply to students who arrive after the examination has started.
The routine also noted that the dates and times of practical examinations will be announced later by the respective colleges.
In a separate notice, the National University extended the deadline for Honours 1st Year form fill-up. Students can now complete the process until June 25, 2026. The previous deadline was June 11.
