A viral claim that the SSC ICT exam question paper was leaked has been proven false. The information was verified by Bangla Fact, a fact-checking unit under the Press Information Bureau (PIB).
The ICT exam took place on Thursday, 30 April. Claims of a question leak began to spread on social media on 28 April. On 29 April, a related image went viral on Facebook, appearing to support the claim.
Bangla Fact confirmed that the image was not genuine. It said the image had been created using artificial intelligence. The original content was taken from a 2025 SSC Dhaka Board question paper and then edited to mislead users.
The organisation warned that such false content can confuse students and guardians. It also noted a rise in misinformation on social media in recent months. Many of these posts come from accounts both inside and outside Bangladesh.

Fact-checkers said misleading content often targets political groups and recent events. They added that false claims are sometimes used to create public confusion or distrust.
The clarification aims to reassure students and families during the exam period. Officials have urged people to rely on verified sources for exam-related information.
Authorities are continuing to monitor online platforms to identify and address similar misinformation.
