The GST A Unit Admission Result for the session 2025–2026 has been published on Wednesday, April 15. The test is held under the GST cluster admission system for 20 public universities. Toukir Siddiqui Ishti secured the top position with 87 marks. He studied at Mohammadpur Government College.
A total of 166,162 students applied for the exam this year. Among them, 125,938 candidates took part in the test. Around 40,224 applicants were absent on the exam day.
According to the official results, 38,088 candidates qualified for admission. This is about 30 percent of those who attended. In contrast, 87,740 students, or 69.50 percent, did not qualify. Authorities also canceled the results of 110 candidates. The reasons include expulsion, incorrect roll numbers, and identity-related issues.
The GST system is important for students seeking admission to public universities. It allows candidates to apply through one combined process.
Students who passed will now move to the next stage of the admissions process, based on university requirements and subject choices.
