The HSC Routine 2026 is expected to be published by Sunday, according to education board officials. The exams are set to begin on June 7 across Bangladesh.
Students and guardians have raised concerns as the routine has not yet been released, despite less than two months remaining before the exams. Board sources said the full routine has already been prepared and sent to the Ministry of Education for approval.
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee completed the routine on March 30 in coordination with one education board. However, the delay in final approval from the ministry has held back its publication.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday night, Dhaka Education Board Examination Controller Professor S M Kamal Uddin Haider said, “We have completed the work of preparing the HSC Routine. It has been sent for approval by the authorities. We hope to publish this routine tomorrow or Sunday.”

This year’s HSC exams will introduce a major change. For the first time, a uniform question paper will be used across 11 education boards, including the country’s nine general boards. In previous years, general boards used different question papers, while Madrasa and Technical boards followed a unified system.
Education experts say the new system will help ensure fairness and consistency. It is expected to improve the quality of questions and make the result evaluation more transparent across all boards.
Authorities are now waiting for final approval, after which the routine will be officially released.
