TECNO has launched the CAMON 50 Ultra 5G at a launch event in Uttara, Dhaka. The device expands the CAMON 50 series and focuses on mobile photography, AI tools, and durable design.
The company showcased the new models at its flagship outlet in Centrepoint, Uttara. Content creators Salman Muqtadir and Rukaiya Jahan Chamak attended the event, which drew local tech enthusiasts and fans.
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. The chip uses a 4-nanometer design aimed at balanced performance and power efficiency. The phone has a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
TECNO also includes ProXDR eye-care technology to help reduce eye strain. The device runs on a 6,500mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. According to the company, the phone will receive three major Android version updates and up to five years of security updates.
The device carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance. It also holds MIL-STD-810 certification, which indicates testing for drops, shocks, and physical stress.
The phone features a triple-camera system designed for different shooting conditions. The main camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C sensor with optical image stabilisation from Sony. The sensor size helps capture more light, which improves low-light photography.
A second 50-megapixel telephoto camera offers 3x optical zoom. An 8-megapixel ultrawide camera supports landscape and group photos.
TECNO has also added several AI tools to support the camera system. These include AI 60x SuperZoom and Super-Zoom FlashSnap, which help stabilise shots at high zoom levels. The phone also supports Live Photo and an underwater photography mode.

TECNO said the device achieved an overall camera score of 146 from DXOMARK, a camera testing platform. According to the company, this is the highest score among smartphones priced under 600 US dollars.
The CAMON 50 Ultra 5G will be available in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB versions. TECNO said the device will reach the Bangladesh market soon.
