Agriculture University 1st Waiting List Published for 2025-2026 Session

The first merit list of waiting candidates for undergraduate admission has been released on the official admission website.

The first merit list of waiting candidates for admission to the Agriculture Cluster universities for the 2025-2026 academic year has been published. The result was released on Wednesday, 28 January, through the official admission-related website.

The list applies to undergraduate (Honours) first-year admission under the Agriculture Cluster, which includes nine public universities across Bangladesh. According to the published information, a total of 7,266 candidates have been placed on the first waiting list.

Earlier, the main admission test result for the Agriculture Cluster was published on 7 January. The waiting list has been released after the initial merit-based selection process.

The Agriculture Cluster admission test was held on 3 January. The examination took place from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm and followed a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. The test was conducted at 20 sub-centres across the country at the same time.

Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) was responsible for overall technical and administrative coordination of the admission test. This included managing the examination process and related systems.

The Agriculture Cluster brings together nine specialised public universities focused on agricultural and related sciences. These universities are Bangladesh Agricultural University, Gazipur Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Habiganj Agricultural University, and Kurigram Agricultural University.

The publication of the first waiting list is important for students who did not secure a place in the initial merit list. Candidates on the waiting list may get admission opportunities if seats remain vacant after the first phase of enrolment.

Students are advised to regularly check the official admission website for further instructions. Any updates on seat confirmation, migration, or the next waiting list will be announced through the same platform.

University authorities have not announced a specific date for the next steps. Further information will be shared after the current admission process is completed.
