Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) has published the admission results for the 2026 academic session for all units, including A, B, C, and D. The university made the announcement on January 30 through an official notice on its admission portal.
Candidates can now check the HSTU Result on the official website at admission.hstu.ac.bd. To view the result, applicants need to enter their Application ID and Password. Once logged in, the merit status is displayed on the screen.
The authorities also confirmed that the HSTU Admission Result review process has started today. Candidates who wish to apply for a review must submit their application within the deadline. The review application window will close on January 31 at 11:59 PM, according to the notice.
Steps to check Admission Result Online
- First of all, visit the official website at admission.hstu.ac.bd
- On the homepage, there will be a form.
- Input Application ID and Password.
- Click on the “Login” button.
- The student profile, along with merit status, will be displayed on the screen.
This year’s admission tests began on January 26, starting with the A Unit examination. The A Unit includes the faculties of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Veterinary Science. University officials said competition remains high, with more than 50 candidates competing for each available seat.
Official data shows that a total of 94,375 applications were submitted across the four units in the current admission cycle. Of these, 30,275 candidates applied for the A Unit, where only 535 seats are available. This means around 56 candidates competed for each seat. Earlier figures from the university had also indicated strong pressure, with about 52 candidates per seat in this unit.
The B Unit received 26,812 applications for 740 seats. Based on these numbers, around 37 candidates competed for each seat. Within the B Unit, competition is higher in some departments. In the Architecture Department, about 41 candidates competed for each of the 30 available seats, university sources said.
Applications for the C and D Units were also significant. A total of 9,191 candidates applied for the C Unit, while 27,097 candidates applied for the D Unit. Competition stood at around 32 candidates per seat in the C Unit and about 112 candidates per seat in the D Unit.
According to the official admission schedule, the D Unit falls under the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities. The D Unit admission test started at 11:30 AM and is being conducted in three phases. The first phase, D1, runs from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The second phase, D2, is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The final phase, D3, takes place from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates were assigned to phases based on their roll numbers.
Earlier on the same day, the C Unit admission test under the Faculty of Business Studies was held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. University officials confirmed that all examinations are being conducted according to the published timetable, and further admission steps will follow based on the announced results.
