Bangladesh Bank to Publish 122nd Prize Bond Draw Today at bb.org.bd

Results for Tk 100 bonds will be released on Sunday on the central bank website

Bangladesh Bank is set to publish the results of the 122nd prize bond draw today, Sunday, February 1, 2026. The results will be available on the official Bangladesh Bank website, according to the central bank.

The draw relates to Tk 100 denomination prize bonds. Bangladesh Bank said bondholders can check the results directly at www.bb.org.bd once they are published.

The central bank confirmed the publication date through an official announcement made on Saturday, January 31. The announcement followed strong public interest in the draw results.

Under the official schedule, the draw was supposed to take place on January 31, 2026. However, the process was delayed. As a result, many bondholders across the country have been waiting for the outcome.

In this draw, the first prize remains Tk 6 lakh. One will receive this amount. Bangladesh Bank has kept the prize structure unchanged for this draw.

The second prize is set at Tk 3 lakh 25 thousand for one winner. Two winners will receive the third prize, with each getting Tk 1 lakh. The fourth prize will go to two people, who will receive Tk 50 thousand each. The fifth prize will be awarded to 40 bondholders, with each receiving Tk 10 thousand.

Bangladesh Bank clarified that bonds carrying the same number in each series are eligible for the same prize amount. This rule applies to all prize categories in the draw.

Prize bonds were first introduced in Bangladesh in 1974. The aim was to encourage savings among the general public. Over the years, prize bonds have become popular as a savings option because they do not lose their face value.

Unlike regular lottery systems, prize bonds allow holders to keep their investment while taking part in periodic draws. For many people, this makes prize bonds a practical choice for low-risk savings.

The Prize Bond Draw 2026 is closely watched by small savers, retirees, and middle-income families. Many rely on prize bond earnings as a financial boost without risking their capital.

Bangladesh Bank will publish the full result sheet online later today. Bondholders are advised to check the official website for accurate and complete information.
