The University of Dhaka has published the re-scrutiny results of the admission test for its Arts, Law, and Social Science Unit for the 2025-2026 academic session.
The results were posted on the faculty notice board on Tuesday afternoon, according to the official notice.
After the review, the results of eight applicants were changed.
The university said applications for re-scrutiny were accepted from 21 January. The review was conducted for candidates who formally applied within the given time.
At the same time, subject preference selection for successful candidates continues on the university’s official website. This online process started on 27 January and will end on 5 February.
In the notice, the university said all successful candidates who want to take admission must visit the University of Dhaka website within this period. They must fill in detailed personal information and complete the subject preference form.
Candidates are also required to download and print the completed form and keep a copy. The notice clearly states that no subject will be allocated if the form is not submitted within the given deadline.
The university also gave instructions for candidates applying under special quotas. These include the freedom fighters’ children quota, the indigenous and ethnic minority quota, the Harijan and Dalit community quota, and disability quota.
According to the notice, eligible candidates must collect the relevant quota forms from the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The forms can be collected and submitted during office hours between 1 February and 5 February.

The completed quota form must be submitted to the faculty office within the same period. The quota application must be submitted together with the printed subject preference form downloaded from the website.
Earlier, the admission test for the Arts, Law, and Social Science Unit was held on 13 December. The main results of the examination were published on 20 January.
A total of 103,611 candidates sat for the admission test in this unit. They competed for 2,934 available seats.
Of the total seats, 962 are in Science, 278 in Business Studies, and 1,694 in the Humanities stream.
The university said candidates must complete all required steps within the announced dates to be considered for subject allocation.
