NTRCA sets Institute Head Exam for April 18 in four shifts

The Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has announced the schedule for recruitment exams for heads and assistant heads of educational institutions. The exams will be held on April 18 in Dhaka in four separate shifts.

The schedule was published on April 9 on the NTRCA website. It confirms that the MCQ-based test for the 8th recruitment cycle in 2026 will follow the set timetable.

According to the notice, Group A candidates will sit for the exam from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This group includes posts such as principals of degree colleges, headmasters of secondary schools, and superintendents of Dakhil madrasas.

Group B exams will run from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. These include positions like principals of higher secondary colleges and Fazil madrasas, along with assistant superintendents of vocational institutions.

Group C candidates will take their test from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This group covers principals of Kamil madrasas, assistant headmasters, and vocational institution heads.

The final shift, Group D, will be held from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. It includes posts such as principals of agricultural institutions and headmasters of junior secondary schools.

NTRCA has asked all applicants to check official websites for detailed instructions and updates. The authority is expected to release further steps after the exam process is completed.
