The SSC Practical Routine 2026 has been published for all education boards in Bangladesh, including Dhaka, Cumilla, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Rajshahi boards. The practical examinations will begin on June 7 and continue until June 17, 2026.
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee confirmed the schedule through an official notice published on the website of the Dhaka Education Board. Professor S M Kamal Uddin Haydar, Controller of Examinations of the board, signed the notice.
According to the routine, practical exams will start daily at 10 AM. Students must enter their exam centres at least 30 minutes before the examination begins. The exact ending time for each subject will follow the schedule mentioned in the routine.
Education Board officials said all practical examinations must be completed by June 14, while answer sheets, printed documents, and other related papers must be submitted to exam centres by June 18, 2026.
The SSC Practical Routine will be available at the respective examination centres across the country. Teachers from individual institutions will also inform students about the exam schedule. Candidates have been advised to collect the routine from the official website of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) or from their institutions.

This year’s SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21 with the Bangla First Paper. The theory examinations, including MCQ and written tests, will end on May 20, 2026. The practical examinations will start after a 17-day break.
A total of 1,857,344 candidates registered for the SSC and equivalent examinations this year. Among them, 1,418,398 students are under the nine general education boards. The Madrasa Education Board has 304,286 candidates, while the Technical Education Board has 134,660 candidates.
Official data shows 930,305 male and 927,039 female candidates are taking part in the examinations this year.
The Dhaka Education Board has the highest number of candidates with 366,650 students. The board also has 510 exam centres and 3,441 participating institutions.
On the other hand, the Sylhet Education Board has the lowest number of candidates. A total of 89,421 students are appearing under the board through 225 centres and 973 institutions.
According to the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, 25,408 candidates were absent on the first day of the examinations. Under the nine general education boards, 1,122,963 students attended the Bangla First Paper exam, while 11,890 remained absent.
Students across Bangladesh are now preparing for the final stage of the SSC examinations as the practical tests approach next month.
