The NU Admission Result 2026 2nd Merit List for the Admission test has been published. The merit list, along with the 1st Migration Result, is now available via Mobile SMS. Candidates can check their merit status in detail through the official website after 9 PM.

The information was officially announced on Wednesday (May 20). As per the official notice, the Honours 2nd Merit Result will be published on May 21, 2026, at 4 PM. On the other hand, the 1st Migration Result will be available at the same time.

Here’s how to check NU Admission Result 2nd Merit List

SMS Method:

Applicants can also get the result through SMS. They need to type “nu<space>athn<space>roll no” and send it to 16222. The result will be sent in a reply message.

Online Method:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website: Go to the NU admission portal at nu.ac.bd/admissions
  • Step 2: Open the result section: On the homepage, click on the “Admission Test Result” option.
  • Step 3: Enter your details: Type your Application ID and PIN number. These are written on your admit card.
  • Step 4: Submit the information: Click the Submit button after entering your details correctly.
  • Step 5: View your result: Your merit status will appear on the screen. You can check whether you are selected or not.

Note that the detailed online result may be fully available after 9 PM on the result day, as mentioned in the official notice.

According to the notice, selected candidates in the second merit list must complete their final admission process between June 3 and June 11, 2026.

Earlier, the 1st Merit List was published on May 3, 2026. For those who were selected, the online application period started on May 5 and ended on May 18, 2026.

This year, the Honours Admission test was conducted on April 25, 2026. A total of 453,148 candidates took part in the test. The competition was high, with nearly two applicants for each available seat. The exam was held in 880 colleges across the country. These included 375 government colleges and 505 private colleges.

There are 452,875 seats in total. Of these, 270,520 seats are in government colleges, where 394,229 students applied. In private colleges, 58,119 applicants competed for 182,355 seats.
