National University is all set to publish the NU Admission Result 2026 for Honours 2nd Merit List. The result will be made live today at 4 PM. Then, candidates can check their merit status via SMS. The detailed result can be found on the admission portal at nu.ac.bd/admissions after 9 PM.
The university announced the information on Wednesday, May 20. Authorities said the Honours Admission 2nd Merit Result and the 1st Migration Result will be published at the same time.
Applicants can check the result by sending an SMS from any mobile phone. They need to type: NU ATHN Roll Number and send the message to 16222.

The result will be sent in a reply SMS.
Students can also check the result online through the admission website of the National University.
To view the result online, applicants need to visit NU Admission Portal. After entering the website, they must click on the “Admission Test Result” option and provide their Application ID and PIN number from the admit card.
Step-by-Step Process
- First of all, visit the admission portal at nu.ac.bd/admissions
- On the homepage, click on the “Admission Test Result” button.
- Enter the Application ID and PIN Number that are available on the admit card.
- Click on the submit button.
- The merit status will be displayed on the screen.
According to the official notice, students selected in the second merit list must complete the final admission process between June 3 and June 11, 2026.
The Honours Admission Test for the session 2025–2026 was held on April 25. As per the report, a total of 453,148 candidates took part in the exam.
This year, National University has 452,875 seats for Honours admission. Among them, 270,520 seats are available in government colleges. A total of 394,229 students applied for those seats.
In private colleges, 58,119 applicants competed for 182,355 seats.
