Dhaka Central University will release the DCU Admit Card 2026 for the 2025–2026 admission session on July 5, 2026. Students who successfully complete the online application and fee payment process will be eligible to collect the document through the university’s admission portal.
The DCU Admit Card will be required to sit for the admission test and will contain important examination details. This year’s admission process is significant because DCU will conduct its own admission examination for the first time after becoming an independent institution.
According to information released by the university, the online application will be open on June 10 and remain open until June 20, 2026. Students from Science, Humanities, Social Science and Business Studies backgrounds can apply for undergraduate honours programmes.
Dhaka Central University was formed with seven government colleges that were previously affiliated with Dhaka University. For the 2025–2026 academic session, candidates will compete for 11,150 seats across different units. The admission test will be held in MCQ format and carry a total of 100 marks.
University sources indicate that the admit card service is likely to be activated from July 5. Applicants who submit their forms correctly and pay the required Tk 800 application fee will be able to access and download the document online.
The admit card will include key information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, admission unit and examination centre. It may also contain reporting time, examination duration and other instructions issued by the university authority.
Students are advised to check all information carefully after downloading the admit card. Any errors should be reported to the university as soon as possible. A printed copy of the admit card must be carried to the examination centre on the test day.
The university has not yet announced the admission test date. However, the examination is expected to take place after the admit card distribution process begins.
For applicants, the coming weeks will be important, as the application process opens on June 10, followed by the distribution of admit cards in July and the university’s first independently managed admission examination.
