Dhaka Central University (DCU) is expected to begin applications for its first-year undergraduate admission test on June 10 for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The online application process for DCU Admission 2026 may continue until June 20, according to university sources. Admit card downloads are expected to begin from July 5. The university will hold DCU Admission tests after that.
Sources at Dhaka Central University (DCU) confirmed the information on Sunday afternoon. They said the university has finalized a roadmap for applications, admit card downloads, and examinations. An official schedule will be published soon.
This will be the first time Dhaka Central University conducts its own admission test. The university was formed through the coordination of seven government colleges in the capital.
The affiliated colleges are Dhaka College, Eden Mohila College, Government Titumir College, Government Bangla College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, and Kabi Nazrul Government College.
For the 2025–2026 session, students will be able to apply for four-year undergraduate honours programmes under the Arts, Science, Social Science, and Business Studies units.

Applicants will need to apply through the university’s official website (dcu.ac.bd) and pay an application fee of 800 Taka.
University officials said detailed information on eligibility and admission requirements will be available in unit-based admission guidelines published on the university website.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam told Jago News that decisions related to admission applications and other procedures have already been finalised.
He said the university will soon publish an official notice inviting applications and announcing the admission test schedule.
