Dhaka Central University (DCU) is going to start the online application process for admission to its 2026 academic session. Students seeking admission to the seven government colleges affiliated with the university can submit their applications from 2:00 PM on June 10, 2026.

According to the admission notice, applications for the Science, Humanities, and Business Studies units will continue until 11:59 PM on June 20, 2026. Interested candidates can complete the process through the official admission portal.

DCU has also published the full admission schedule, including application deadlines, examination dates, admit card information, and result publication dates. A total of seven government colleges are taking part in the admission process under the university.

The participating colleges are Dhaka College, Eden Mohila College, Government Titumir College, Government Bangla College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, and Kabi Nazrul Government College.

Applicants must pay Tk 800 as the application fee during the online submission process. The university has announced that classes for successful candidates will begin on September 6, 2026.

The admission tests will be held separately for different units in July. According to the DCU Admission Test Schedule, the Arts and Sociology Unit, the examination is scheduled for July 11, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The result for this unit will be published on July 14.

The Science Unit examination will take place on July 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. On the same day, the Business Studies Unit examination will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Results for both units are scheduled to be published on July 20.

Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from July 5, 2026. The university said applicants must download and print the admit card before appearing in the admission test.

To collect the admit card, students need to visit the admission website, select the admit card option, enter their application details, verify the information shown on the screen, and then download and print the document.

The admit card will contain important details, including the examination date, time, roll number, and instructions for candidates. Students are advised to keep the document safe and bring it to the examination centre.

The university has urged applicants to read the admission guidelines carefully before submitting their applications. Detailed eligibility requirements are available in the unit-based admission guide published on the admission website.

Candidates are also advised to check the admission portal regularly for updated notices and further instructions regarding the admission process. After the publication of results, the university is expected to issue notices on the next stages of admission.
