For the examinees of the country’s largest education board, result day is almost here. The SSC Result 2026 is set to be published on Monday, July 20, and students under the Dhaka Education Board — the board with the highest number of examinees in the country — will be able to check their results through three official routes: the central results portal, SMS, and the board’s own website.
This guide covers every method step by step, specifically for Dhaka Board candidates, along with the board code, common mistakes to avoid, and what to do the moment the result goes live.
First: Are You Under the Dhaka Board?
The Dhaka Intermediate and Secondary Education Board covers schools in 13 districts of the Dhaka Division: Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Munshiganj, Manikganj, Kishoreganj, Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Madaripur, Shariatpur, and Rajbari. If your school is in one of these districts, this guide is for you; your board code for checking results via SMS is DHA.
This year’s SSC and equivalent exams, which began on April 21, attracted over 18.57 lakh candidates nationwide (1,418,398 of them from the nine general education boards), with the Dhaka Board accounting for the largest share. It’s important to remember this on the morning of the results release: the largest board also means the greatest server overload.
Method 1: Central Results Portal (With Full Marksheet)
The main destination is the official web portal of all education boards:
- Go to www.educationboardresults.gov.bd
- In the Examination field, select SSC/Dakhil/Equivalent
- Select the Year: 2026
- Select the Board: Dhaka
- Type your Roll number and Registration number exactly as printed on your admit card
- Solve the small security captcha (a simple sum) and press Submit
Your result appears on screen with the subject-wise marksheet — grades and grade points for every subject. You can print it or save a screenshot for admission-time reference.
Method 2: SMS — the Result-Day Lifesaver
When lakhs of Dhaka Board students hit the website at the same time, it slows to a crawl in the first hour. SMS doesn’t. From any mobile operator:

The reply message delivers your GPA within moments. Each SMS carries a small standard charge, and you can send it even before the official time — the reply simply arrives once results go live.
Method 3: The Dhaka Board’s Own Website
The Dhaka Education Board also publishes the results on its official website, dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd, where the results section allows searches by registration number after publication. This option is especially useful for reviewing results later and for checking board notices, including the announcement of the post-publication review.
For schools: Institutions can download their full results sheet using their EIIN number through the board’s systems and portal. This is how your school obtains the complete list that it posts on the notice board.
Common Mistakes That Block Your Result
Every result day, thousands of students panic over “Result Not Found” errors that have simple causes. Avoid these:
- Wrong registration number — the portal needs both roll AND registration; copy them from the admit card, not from memory
- Wrong board selected — Dhaka city madrasah students are under the Madrasah Board (type Dakhil MAD in SMS), not Dhaka Board
- Typing letters in the SMS wrong — it’s the first three letters, DHA, with single spaces between every part
- Refreshing the portal repeatedly at 10:00 sharp — results traditionally go live after the official announcement, often from midday; give it time before assuming a problem
After the Result: Two Dates to Watch
Appeal (Review): If your result appears to be incorrect, the Dhaka Board will accept appeals via the Teletalk SMS system for a fixed period announced with the result, usually within a few days of its publication, at a per-subject fee. University Admission: Applications for admission to the HSC open shortly after the results are published via the central online system. Your overall average (GPA) determines your university choices, so families should start compiling their preferred university lists now.
