The wait for hundreds of thousands of students who took the SSC exam and their families is nearing its end. The results of the 2026 SSC and equivalent exams will be released on Monday, July 20, and according to officials from the examining board, all preparations for the release are virtually complete.
The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board’s Coordinating Committee has finalized most of the results processing, according to officials familiar with the process. Only formal approval from the Ministry of Education is needed; once received, the exact date and time will be officially announced. For now, all preparations are proceeding with July 20 as the deadline.
Why July 20 Is (Almost) Certain
Although the final official announcement is still pending, the July 20th date is neither a surprise nor a rumor. The Minister of Education himself announced it weeks ago: at a press conference at the Ministry on June 8th, Dr. A. N. M. Ehsanul Haque Milon stated that the results of this year’s SSC and equivalent exams would be published on July 20th.
This date also aligns with the tradition of examination boards publishing results approximately 60 days after the written exams conclude. Since this year’s exams ended in May, July 20th falls within that traditional timeframe. In short: unless something unforeseen arises during the approval process, Monday is the day.
How to Check the SSC Result 2026
When the result goes live — traditionally from late morning, after the formal announcement — students will be able to check it in the standard ways:

- Select examination: SSC/Dakhil/Equivalent
- Select the year: 2026
- Choose your education board
- Enter your roll number and registration number
- Solve the small security math and submit — your result with the subject-wise marksheet appears
Many boards also make results available through their own websites, and institutions can download full result sheets using their EIIN numbers.

Students at madrasas write Dakhil instead of SSC using their examining board’s code, and students in technical fields use the corresponding format. The SMS response delivers the result in seconds; and on the day the results are published, when websites slow down due to the surge of simultaneous visitors, SMS is usually the fastest option.
What Examinees Should Do Before Monday
A few practical preparations will save you stress on result morning:
- Keep your admit card handy — you’ll need your roll and registration numbers exactly as printed
- Don’t panic at server delays — in the first hour, the results website traditionally crawls under the load; the result isn’t going anywhere
- Beware of fake “result out early” links — every result season, scam links promising early access flood Facebook, sometimes phishing for personal information. The result comes through the official channels above, at the official time, and never earlier
- Know your next steps — college admission applications open soon after the results, so this weekend is a good time for families to start shortlisting colleges
After the Result: What Comes Next
Once the results are published, two things happen quickly. Students who are unhappy with their scores will have the opportunity to request a review (exam review). The application deadline, fee, and SMS process will be announced alongside the results, and we will publish the full guide as soon as it is available.
