The National University will publish the Honours 2nd Merit Result and 1st Migration Result for the 2025–2026 admission session on Thursday, May 21.
The university announced the date through an official notice issued on Wednesday. It said candidates will be able to check their result through mobile SMS from 4 PM. The merit list will also be available online after 9 PM on the official admission portal.
According to the notice, selected candidates in the second merit list must complete their final admission process between June 3 and June 11, 2026.
The university also warned that students already admitted to another course under the 2024–25 academic session must cancel that admission by June 9. Otherwise, their admission and registration for the 2025–26 session will be cancelled.
Candidates can check their merit status online through the app11.nu.edu.bd portal by entering their Application ID.
Applicants can also get the result through SMS. They need to type “nu<space>athn<space>roll no” and send it to 16222. The result will be sent in a reply message.
The admission test for the 2025–26 session was held on April 25 this year. A total of 453,148 candidates took part in the exam.
National University has a total of 452,875 seats for Honours admission this year. Among them, 270,520 seats are available in government colleges. A total of 394,229 students applied for these seats.
In private colleges, 58,119 applicants competed for 182,355 seats.
Earlier, the university published the Honours Admission 1st Merit Result on May 3. The official website remained down for several hours after the result was released due to heavy traffic.
The university is expected to continue the admission activities after the publication of the second merit and migration results on Thursday.
