The government primary scholarship examination began across 61 districts of Bangladesh on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. The exam will continue until 12:30 PM. On the first day, students are taking the Bangla subject test.
Officials said a set of 10 special instructions and a code of conduct are in place for all examinees. These rules must be followed during the examination period. The Directorate of Primary Education confirmed that an extra 30 minutes has been allowed for specially-abled students. Authorities also asked all concerned to follow the schedule strictly.
According to the official routine, the English exam will be held on 16 April. The Primary Mathematics test is set for 17 April. Bangladesh and Global Studies, along with Primary Science, will take place on 18 April.
A different schedule applies in the three hill districts. In those areas, the examination will begin on 17 April with Primary Mathematics. Bangladesh and Global Studies and Primary Science will be held on 18 April. The Bangla exam is scheduled for 19 April, followed by English on 20 April.
Strict rules are in place inside examination halls. Students must arrive on time with their admit cards. No one can sit for the exam without this document. Electronic devices such as mobile phones and calculators are not allowed. Students are also banned from bringing any unauthorized papers.

Examinees must fill out their answer sheets carefully. Only the required details—name, subject code, and roll number—can be written in the specified areas on the OMR sheet. The invigilator must sign each answer sheet, or it will be treated as invalid.
Officials warned that no personal details or marks should be written anywhere else on the answer sheet. Any violation may lead to cancellation.
The examination is an important step for primary students in Bangladesh. Authorities will continue monitoring the process to ensure fairness and discipline until all tests conclude.
