Dhaka University has started the result rechecking process for the Science Unit admission test for the 2025–26 academic year. The rechecking application window opened on Tuesday, 27 January, and will remain open until 1 February.
The university authorities confirmed the information in an official notice issued after the Science Unit results were published on Sunday, 26 January.
Students who are not satisfied with their published results can apply for a review by following the set procedure. Each applicant must submit a handwritten application addressed to the Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences.
The application must be submitted in person to the Faculty of Biological Sciences office. Candidates must also pay a fee of Tk 1,000 in cash. Applications will be accepted every day between 27 January and 1 February, including Friday and Saturday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Along with the application, candidates must attach several documents. These include photocopies of SSC and HSC mark sheets, a photocopy of the admission test admit card, and a printed copy of the result downloaded from the internet.
According to the notice, the results of the rechecking process will be published on 3 February at 4:00 pm. The updated results will be displayed on the notice board of the Faculty of Biological Sciences office. They will also be available in the Science Unit section of the Dhaka University website.
This year, a total of 7,621 candidates passed the Science Unit admission test. Among them, 7,212 candidates are from the science group. Another 300 candidates are from the humanities group, while 109 candidates are from the business studies group.
The university also reported that 4,278 answer scripts were cancelled during the evaluation process. The notice did not provide further details on the reasons for the cancellations.
The result review process is important for candidates who believe there may have been an error in the checking of their answer scripts. University officials have advised applicants to follow the instructions carefully and submit all required documents within the deadline.
After the rechecking results are published on 3 February, no further applications will be accepted, and the updated results will be considered final for the Science Unit admission process.
