The SSC Result 2026 is likely to be published within 60 days after the exams ended on May 20, according to the Education Minister.
The minister made the announcement while speaking to journalists at the Secretariat in Dhaka. However, no exact publication date for the results has been announced yet.
This year’s SSC examinations began on April 21 with the Bangla First Paper exam. The written examinations ended on May 20 with Biology for Science group students and Economics for Humanities group students.
According to official data, 1,857,344 students registered for the SSC and equivalent examinations across the country this year. Among them, 930,305 were male candidates and 927,039 were female candidates.
Of the total candidates, 1,418,398 students were under the nine general education boards. The Madrasa Education Board had 304,286 candidates, while the Technical Education Board had 134,660 candidates.
The Dhaka Education Board had the highest number of registered candidates this year. A total of 366,650 students took part under the board. Among them, 169,939 were male students and 196,711 were female students. The board conducted exams at 510 centres involving 3,441 institutions.
The Comilla Education Board hosted 146,817 candidates. Of them, 58,877 were male and 87,970 were female. The board arranged exams at 277 centres under 1,822 institutions.
Under the Jessore Education Board, 135,089 students registered for the examinations. Male candidates numbered 66,928, while female candidates totaled 68,161. The board had 299 centres and 2,572 participating institutions.
The Chattogram Education Board recorded 130,668 candidates this year. Among them, 56,325 were male and 74,343 were female. The board managed exams through 218 centres and 1,218 institutions.
Attendance data from the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee showed that 25,408 candidates were absent on the first day of the examinations.
Under the nine general education boards, 1,134,853 students registered for the Bangla First Paper exam. Among them, 1,122,963 students attended, while 11,890 were absent.
On the second examination day, nearly 27,000 students were absent across the country. The coordination committee also said that 19 examinees were expelled for using unfair means during the exams.
A total of 1,118,764 students registered for the Bangla Second Paper examination. Of them, 1,106,448 students attended, while 12,316 remained absent.
The authorities are now expected to complete the paper evaluation and result preparation before announcing the final publication date for the SSC Result.
